PLUS Master Promissory Note (MPN) - Preapproval and On-Line Application Instructions

In order to apply for a Federal PLUS Loan, parent borrowers should
complete an on-line pre-approval and loan application. SHU recommends
that parents complete the application using an electronic signature (eSign).

To complete an on-line PLUS Loan application and electronic signature:
- Visit
www.cslf.org/enroute
- Create an EnRoute User Profile
Click the Create an EnRoute User Profile link under the Borrower's section of the page.
Once you have successfully created a user profile, click Apply for a Loan / Apply for a PLUS Loan
/ New PLUS Loan.
- Select - Apply for a Loan
- Select - Apply for a PLUS Loan
- Application Information
Enter the borrower, student, employment, reference, school and lender, and additional loan information.
- Credit Authorization
Once you have entered your information and passed all edits, a credit check will be performed to pre-approve your loan application.
- Signing Option
Select the Electronic Signature signing option. You will be required to authenticate your identity during this process.
If you have received a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the
U.S. Department of Education, you can use your FAFSA PIN to authenticate your identity.

You may access your account information or obtain a copy of your on-line PLUS application and electronic signature via EnRoute,
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For assistance completing your on-line application or to request a paper application,
