Determine Your College Plans

Once you have determined your expenses for an academic year, the next step is to consider your long-term educational plans. Getting your degree can take anywhere from two to six years - sometimes longer. Take into account the costs of courses between the terms or in the summer. These are all things to think about when determining the budget for your total college expenses. Also, don't forget that your costs are likely to increase each year due to inflation, if nothing else!
