CSLF Employee Charitable Involvement

CSLF and its employees participate in many events and causes which help to support the community.

  • CSLF has sent a team of walkers to the March of Dimes annual March for Babies (formerly WalkAmerica) for several years.  Just since 2004, employees have raised an average of $2160 per year, or $149 per walker, 
  • CSLF employees have collected gifts for We Are The Children holiday toy drive for the last 17 years, collecting 8-10 cases of gifts per year. 
  • CSLF employees have collected over 3,600 lbs of food for FoodShare since 1996, with an average of 300 lbs of food per year, plus monetary donations.
  • CSLF began participating in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes in 2006, raising more than $3600. 
  • CSLF participates in the United Way community campaign each year, allowing employees to make one-time donations or payroll deducted contributions.   Since 2005, CSLF employees have contributed nearly $20,000 to local United Way causes. 
  • CSLF allows employees to take time out during the workday to donate blood at American Red Cross blood drives sponsored by neighboring businesses approximately every two months.
