CSLF 40 Year History
The Connecticut Student Loan Foundation (CSLF) is proud to celebrate more than 40 years of providing opportunities and access to education. From its modest beginnings in a one-room office with a handful of staff to its current 125-person team, CSLF has always remained committed to providing college access and choice for all students.
CSLF’s unique position in the student loan industry is defined by three factors:
- CSLF is a non-profit company whose mission is to provide opportunities and access to education;
- CSLF offers a choice of products and processes to both borrowers and partners; and
- CSLF provides customized value-added services.
CSLF’s transformation over the years has gone hand-in-hand with expansion of the federal loan programs. As college campuses have grown more diversified, CSLF has also continued to expand its products and services in order to meet the needs of borrowers, schools and agency partners.
